POSTCARD WRITTEN ONBOARD TITANIC
A postcard that was written and mailed postmarked 3.45 pm April 11 Queenstown by Mrs Frank Goldsmith addressed to her sister Mrs P. M. Stevens of Castle Road Rayleigh Essex England was optimistic with the message:
This is our house for the present. Dont forget to write. Of the five emigrating to
the US from Strood Kent only Mrs Goldsmith and her nine year old son Frank survived. Mr Goldsmith and his friend Thomas Theobald and Franks friend Alfred Rush died.
