A fascinating insight in Titanic history is this handwritten letter onboard Carpathia in Fiume on November 17 1912 to the managing director of his company Rostron is telling Mr A. A. Booth that Captain Lord of the Californian was writing asking for a description of the two steamers he saw
on the morning of April 15. Being a conscientious and loyal company man Rostron forwarded the letters to the head of Cunard.
