When Titanics lifeboats were picked up by the Carpathia brought to New York and dropped off at the White Star Line pier people removed the bronze White Star (burgee) flags and nameplates for souvenirs. These poignant remnants are few and rare. This one has an interesting background and came
via THS Vice President Paul Louden-Brown who was a consultant in James Camerons Titanic and this flag was used as the master to mold the lifeboat flags in the film.
