The famous Letter to Gladys was written mailed and one of the few rare correspondence that survived. Edwina Troutt wrote it to her friend describing how lovely the ship is. Many years later at a Titanic Historical Society meeting, which she was an Honour Member, she was a very surprised
lady when Edward Kamuda showed her that letter she had written so many years ago!
